Shot in one continous take, the Golden Globe-winning 1917 tells the story of two young British soldiers, during the First World War, as they are given an impossible mission: deliver a message deep in enemy territory that will stop 1,600 men, and one of the soldiers' brothers, from walking straight into a deadly trap.

Personally, I think that 1917 is the best film I've seen this year and my pick to win for the Best Picture Oscar, this year.

10 out of 10.

Speaking of the Oscars, I think this year's nominees in all the categories have been very reasonable, for sure. And I'm quite surprised that Joker has the most nominations. Well, that gives us something to look forward to.

Anyway, see you at the movies.
